About
Sourcing circulaire et création ponctuelle

Pisoni–lab is a scenography and design studio specialising in creating sets for exhibitions, events, and festivals. Our mission is to craft scenographies that are both visually striking and environmentally conscious.

For each project, we borrow or rent materials and objects from dormant stocks owned by our network of partners — designers, artists, shops, and local businesses — giving them a new purpose within our installations before returning them to their owners. At the same time, we design unique pieces in-house for each project — original series of objects that make every event truly distinctive. We care about the longevity of these creations, which is why they are available for purchase after the event, allowing them to continue their journey in new contexts.

By combining the reuse of existing resources with the careful creation of new pieces, Pisoni–lab produces scenographies that seamlessly blend creativity and sustainability.

The Studio

Founded in 2023 in Lausanne by Karen Pisoni, a designer and interior architect graduated from ECAL and HEAD – Geneva, the studio combines solid expertise with a focus on design, innovation, and sustainability. Karen has built a wide network of artists, artisans, technicians, suppliers, and local businesses. These collaborations enrich every project, enabling Pisoni–lab to create bespoke scenographies that seamlessly blend craftsmanship, creativity, and environmental responsibility.

Our Partners

At Pisoni–lab, professionalism and collaboration are at the core of our approach. We work with a dynamic network of local artists, artisans, suppliers, and businesses who share our values of creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

To make the most of existing resources, we have established a partnership system that allows us to compose our scenographies with our partners’ dormant stock — furniture, lighting, objects — enabling us to meet a wide range of needs.

Our work also includes a curatorial dimension by showcasing local artists, adding real value to your events while celebrating the regional cultural fabric. These elements are incorporated into our scenographies, giving them renewed visibility before being returned to their owners as part of our circular approach.
